2011 De Rosa Foundation for Colon Cancer Research and Prevention Sponsored Toy Drive

In Memory of Coach Don Scott, Manhasset High School

 
 

During the months of November and December, The De Rosa Foundation Junior Committee, collaborated with Manhasset High School,
Manhasset Post Office, the Roanoke Elementary School (Wading River) and, Frosty’s Ice Cream Club and Coffee Bar (Franklin Square)
to sponsor a toy drive to benefit the pediatric ward at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center, (MSKCC). On December 16, 2011,
The De Rosa Foundation presented the Director of the MSKCC pediatric ward with over 300 various types of toys, electronics and gift cards.
Don Scott Jr. was in attendance along with members of The De Rosa Adult and Junior committees.
We would like to Thank all that participated and contributed in making our 2nd Annual Toy Drive a tremendous success!

The De Rosa Foundation provides outreach for newly diagnosed colon cancer patients. The DeRosa Foundation for colon cancer research and prevention has an advisory board of doctors to guide patients. Founder Kathy De Rosa and The DeRosa Foundation, based in New York, raise funds to further colon cancer research. All proceeds are granted to Dr José Guillem's research team at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
